Why I care about making breakthroughs happen: As a first generation student growing up with a disability, I know how important a strong community and support system are. I care about making breakthroughs happen because every student deserves access to the best possible education regardless of the systemic and structural barriers that may tell them otherwise. I am excited to be part of an organization that is committed to creating a more equitable and just future for all young people.
